When intelligence becomes abundant, what stays scarce is trust — between people, between partners, and between cities and the fragile systems they depend on. NOVAI designs the cognitive infrastructure that makes it measurable.
NOVAI is a Singapore-based, AI-native company working at the frontier of two converging fields: AI Trust Infrastructure — the verification layer for a world where anything can be faked — and Cognitive Cities — environments that don't merely sense and report, but anticipate and adapt.
We build systems that turn invisible signals into measurable assets. Whether the signal is a kept promise, a credible cross-border partner, or the live carrying-capacity of a rainforest trail, the discipline is the same: capture it, verify it, and make it something the world can act on with confidence.
A future where trust is engineered, not assumed — between people, between partners, and between humanity and the planet.
To be the defining builder of trust infrastructure for the AI age — the layer that lets people, organisations, and the natural systems we depend on prove integrity, quality, and capacity in a world where everything else can be generated on demand.
To design cognitive systems that make trust measurable at every scale: between professionals, between cross-border partners, and between humanity and nature — so that good actors are recognised and fragile systems are protected.
Credentials and claims are cheap. We instrument the signals that actually predict outcomes — and make them portable and verifiable.
Smart systems sense and report. Cognitive systems anticipate and adapt. We build the second kind — with a human always in the loop.
Verified, bilateral, longitudinal data is structurally hard to fake and harder to replicate. Integrity compounds into durable advantage.
NOVA uses AI to extract commitments from meetings, voice memos, and event conversations — then tracks follow-through to build a verified Commitment Integrity score: a portable credential that can't be faked or AI-generated, and compounds with every interaction.
The Matchmaker is a curated business-matching platform connecting Chinese smart-city solution providers with qualified ASEAN counterparts. It replaces open-marketplace volume with institutionally-backed, high-trust introductions — and an AI intelligence layer that tracks which ones actually turn into deals.
Where we think out loud about AI trust infrastructure, cognitive cities, and the systems that make trust measurable. The first in a continuing series.
How intelligent destinations grow tourism value — more visitors, longer stays, deeper engagement — while protecting the natural, cultural and social systems they depend on. A practical model, its infrastructure stack, and its alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Steven brings four decades in the MICE industry — Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions. He isn't solving someone else's problem: after 40 years attending, organising, and evaluating business events worldwide, he knows intimately the gap between promises made at a conference and promises kept afterward. That gap is the problem NOVAI exists to close.
He is also a trained biologist and a proponent of cognitive ecotourism — and the two are connected. His grounding in living systems shapes how he thinks about places: as ecosystems with real, finite carrying capacities that degrade when overrun. Cognitive ecotourism applies that lens, designing destinations as premium, low-volume, high-yield environments where an adaptive intelligence layer allocates scarce access within hard ecological limits — making carrying-capacity and visitor value measurable so that commerce and conservation pull in the same direction rather than against each other. It is the same NOVAI thesis, applied to the relationship between humanity and nature.
Whether you're an investor, an institution, an event organiser, or a city exploring what verified trust could mean for your world — we'd like to hear from you.
