Steven Seet

Founder & CEO · NOVAI

Steven brings four decades in the MICE industry — Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions. He isn't solving someone else's problem: after 40 years attending, organising, and evaluating business events worldwide, he knows intimately the gap between promises made at a conference and promises kept afterward. That gap is the problem NOVAI exists to close.

He is also a trained biologist and a proponent of cognitive ecotourism — and the two are connected. His grounding in living systems shapes how he thinks about places: as ecosystems with real, finite carrying capacities that degrade when overrun. Cognitive ecotourism applies that lens, designing destinations as premium, low-volume, high-yield environments where an adaptive intelligence layer allocates scarce access within hard ecological limits — making carrying-capacity and visitor value measurable so that commerce and conservation pull in the same direction rather than against each other. It is the same NOVAI thesis, applied to the relationship between humanity and nature.
